Abstract

Özet

Ani, şiddetli bir travma karşısında tam veya kısmen kemik bütünlüğünün bozulması kırık olarak tarif edilir. Mandibulada kırık meydana gelmesi için daha az kuvvete gereksinim olması nedeniyle mandibula kırıkları daha fazla gözlenir. Genel olarak mandibulanın semfis, foramen mentale, yirmi yaş dişi bölgesi, kollum hizası ve dişli alveoler yapının herhangi bir yeri zayıf bölgelerdir ve kırık meydana gelme riski yüksektir. Bu yazıda mandibula fraktürü tedavisinde kullanılan iki ayrı yönteme ait gelişmiş tedavi komplikasyonlarını sunmayı amaçladık.

Abstract 

Fracture is defined as the total or partial loss of continity of bone due to a spontaneous and/or forceful trauma. Mandibular fractures are more oftenly seen while a lesser amount of force can easily cause discontinity at the mandibular corpus, symhis, foramen mentalis, 3rd molar area, collum line and any locus on dental arch is accepted weak regions and fractures are possible to occur at the prementioned areas.

In this article complications of a spesific treatment process often used in fracture cases, miniplate osteosynthesis, are discussed.
