Abstract

Median mandibular kist; mandibulanın tam ortasında ender görülen non-odontojenik bir kisttir. Her iki cinste de eşit oranda
görülebilir. Kistin görülmesi için belli bir yaş aralığı yoktur. 20 yaşındaki kadın hasta gömük 20 yaş dişlerinden opere olmak
için kliniğimize başvurdu. Yapılan radyolojik muayene sırasında mandibular orta hatta radyolusent bir alana rastlandı.
Median mandibular kist ön tanısı ile lokal anestezi altında kist tümüyle çıkarıldı. Histolojik tanı, median mandibular kist
olarak bildirildi. Bu makalede, median mandibular kistin tedavisi ve ayırıcı tanı yöntemleri tartışıldı.
