NÖRAL KREST KÖKENLİ HÜCRELERİN AĞIZ VE ÇENE-YÜZ OLUŞUMUNA KATKILARI VE NEDEN OLDUKLARI ANOMALİLER

Abstract

Nöral krest hücreleri embriyonal dönemde nöral tüpün yüzey ektoderminden ayrışması sürecinde oluşan nöroektodermal
hücrelerdir. Bu hücreler insanda çok değişik hücre ve doku tiplerini oluşturabilme kapasitesine ve farklılaşma yeteneğine
sahiptirler. Ağız, çene-yüz ve diş dokularının, nöral krest kökenli hücrelerin göç edip farklılaşmalarının katkısı ile oluşması
nedeniyle bu hücreler diş hekimliği araştırmaları açısından önemlidir. Gelişim sırasında bu hücrelerin göçünde ya da
farklılaşmasındaki herhangi bir bozukluk ağız ve çene-yüz bölgesinde çeşitli anomalilere neden olur. Bu çalışmada, nöral
krest hücrelerinin oluşumu, bu hücrelerden köken alan oluşumlar ve baş, boyun, yüz ve ağız boşluğu oluşumuna katılan nöral
krest kökenli hücrelerden kaynaklanan anomaliler anlatılmıştır. Ağız ve çene-yüz bölgesindeki birçok yapının oluşumu ve
normal gelişmesi için nöral krest hücrelerinin sağlıklı bir şekilde oluşması, göç etmesi ve farklılaşmasının gerektiği
anlaşılmaktadır.
