DENTİN HASSASİYETİ VE TEDAVİSİ

Abstract

Dentin hassasiyeti klinikte oldukça sık karşımıza çıkan bir durumdur. Dentin hassasiyeti ısısal,
buharlaştırma,dokunma, ozmotik veya kimyasal uyarılara cevap olarak başlayan ve uyaran ortadan
kalktıktan sonra geçen kısa süreli, keskin ağrı olarak tanımlanabilir. Tedavisi dentin kanallarındaki sıvı
akışını azaltmaya ve pulpadaki sinir iletimini bloke eden ajanların kullanımına dayanmaktadır. Ancak
tedavi planlamasında sadece hassasiyetin tedavisi değil aynı zamanda bu hassasiyete neden olan etyolojik
faktörler de dikkate alınmalıdır. Bu derlemenin amacı dentin hassasiyetinin mekanizması, etyolojik
faktörleri, sıklığı hakkında bilgi vermek ve bu hassasiyetin tedavisinde kullanılan ajanları tanıtmaktır.
