ÇİĞNEME FONKSİYONUNA GİREN AMALGAM DOLGULU DİŞLERDEN VE RETROGRAD AMALGAM DOLGULARDAN KAN VE İDRARA CİVA GEÇİŞİNİN İNCELENMESİ

Abstract

Amaç: Bu invivo çalışmada amalgam dolgu varlığını ve dolgulu dişlerin çiğneme fonksiyonuna girip
girmemesi gibi faktörlerin, kan idrar gibi vücut sıvılarına civa geçişini ne şekilde etkilediğini, ayrıca
retrograd amalgam dolgulardan kan ve idrara civa geçişi olup olmadığını inceledik.
Gereç ve Yöntem: Bu çalışma, İ.Ü. Veteriner Fakültesi İçhastalıkları Anabilim Dalı Kliniği'nde,
yaş ortalaması 4(±2) olan, melez 24 adet erişkin erkek köpek üzerinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Deneklerden
alınan kan örneklerinde civa tayini atomik absorbsiyon spektrofotometresinde hidrür sistemi, idrar
örneklerinde civanın saptanmasında Lindstedt yöntemi ile yapılmıştır.
Bulgular: Kontrol grubuna oranla, retrograd dolgu bulunan deneklerde daha yüksek kan civa seviyesine
rastlanmıştır. Buna karşılık idrar Hg seviyeleri açısından tüm dönemlerde her iki grup arasında
istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir fark bulunmamıştır
Sonuç: Çalışmamızın sonunda amalgam dolgulardan; çiğneme fonksiyonuna girsin girmesin; vücut
sıvılarına civa geçişinin oldugunu, bunun zamanla azalmakla beraber en yüksek 1. haftada olduğunu,
ancak tek bir retrograd dolgunun istatistiksel olarak kan ve idrardaki civa seviyesini etkilemediği sonucuna vardık.
