Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this study is the determine types of abutments and frequency of using angled abutment for the cementable restorations for every teeth position and also determine the dental technicihan’s education and dental labaratory’s conditions.Material and Methods: A questionnaire was developed with two sections, applied in the dental labaratory. First section included questions about implant locations,material and type of prostheses, and also type and degree of the abutment in use. Second section included questions about dental technician’s education, experiance about implant supported prostheses and conditions of dental laboratory. Results: 159 angleded, 109 milled, 105 straight and 27 solid abutments were seen in 400 cast. Conclusion: Most frequent employed were angulated abutments in the cementable restorations. They are frequently used upper insicors region.

SİMANTE RESTORASYONLARDA AÇILI İMPLANT DAYANAĞI KULLANIM SIKLIĞI

Abstract

Amaç: Çalışmada, implant üstü simante restorasyonlarda kullanılan implant dayanağı çeşitlerinin,
açılı implant dayanağı kullanım sıklığının ve kullanım bölgelerinin, diş teknisyenlerinin implant üstü
restorasyonlarla ilgili eğitimi ve laboratuar şartlarının belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır.
Gereç ve Yöntem: Diş laboratuarlarında uygulanmak üzere iki aşamalı bir anket oluşturulmuştur.
Anketin birinci bölümü; implantın cerrahi uygulama bölgeleri, protezin tasarımı ve materyali, ayrıca
kullanılan implant dayanağının türü ve açısına dair sorular içermektedir. Anketin ikinci kısmı ise diş
teknisyenin eğitimi, implant üstü protezler konusundaki tecrübesi, konu hakkındaki eğitimini ne şekilde
edindiği ve laboratuarın şartları ile ilgili sorular içermektedir.
Bulgular: İncelenen modellerde, 400 implant dayanağından, 159 adet açılı, 109 adet freze edilebilir,
105 adet düz ve 27 adet solid implant dayanağı kullanımı belirlenmiştir.
Sonuç: İncelenen modellerde simante restorasyon uygulamalarında açılı implant dayanağı kullanı-
mının yaygın olduğu belirlenmiştir. Açılı implant dayanağı kullanımının en yoğun olduğu bölge ise üst
kesiciler bölgesi olarak tespit edilmiştir
