ÖZET
Dördü kadın biri erkek, beş hastada rastlanılan dev hücreli reparatif granüloma klinik ve hisiopatolojik açıdan incelenmiş ve konu ile ilgili literatür gözden geçirilmiştir. Vakaların tümünde, alt çene korpusunun arka kısımlarında oturan lezyon grafilerde çoğunlukla multilokülür bir gröünüm vermekte îdi. Histolojik incelemelerde değişkenlik göstermekle beraber genellikle bağ dokusunda hiperplazi, damarlarda artma ve kanama odakları ile birlikte dev hücreler ve enfiltratif iltihap hücrelerinin bulunduğu gözlenmiştir.
SUMMARY
The giant cell reparative granuloma, which can sometimes be clinically confused with an early carcinoma of the gingiva, fibroma, cyst or ameloblastoma, is in fact a reparative process initiated by an undetermined etiologic factor, such as a trauma or a parathormone increase. Some beleive its origin to be odontogenic. The lesion sometimes occurs as an outgrowth from gingiva (peripheral) and sometimes inside the jaw bones (central or intra osseous).
In this article, this lesion in 4 female, 1 male the literature is reviewed. In all of the cases the lesion was located at the back of corpus mandibula. Histological specimens revealed hyperplasia in connective tissue, increase in vascularity, homorrhage together with giant cells and infiltrative blood cells, however in varying stages of development.
