Abstract

Early detection of disease plays a crucial role in successful therapy. In most cases, the earlier the disease is diagnosed, the more likely it is to be successfully cured or well controlled. Salivary diagnostics offer an easy, inexpensive, safe and non-invasive approach for disease detection. This article presents an overview of salivary biomarkers for oral cancers, sistemic infections and peridontal diseases.

TÜKÜRÜK BİYOMARKERLARIN ERKEN TANIDAKİ ROLÜ-The Role of Salivary Biomarkers in Early Diagnostics

Year 2013, Volume: 47 Issue: 2, 73 - 80, 29.07.2013
