Kefdağ ve Soridağ (Guleman) Kromit Kütlelerinin Oluşumu Üzerine Yeni Bir Yaklaşım

Abstract

Kefdağ ve Soridağ (Güleman) krom yatakları birincil oluşum özellikleri iyi korunabilmiş ender podiform tip yataklardır. Yapısal, petrolojik, mineralojik ve kimyasal özellikleri, podiform kromit kütlelerinin oluşumu konusuna yeni yaklaşımlar geliştirmeye elverişli görünmektedir. Yeni yaklaşımlar ışığında yapılan tartışmalar sonunda Kefdağ ve Soridağ kromit kütlelerinin diapirik üst manto kalıntı peridotitleri içinde oluştukları görüşü benimsenmiştir. Bu peridotitler harzburjit ve dunit bileşiminde olup, çok fazlı tüketilmiş üst manto kalıntılarıdır. Kefdağ ve Soridağ kromit kütleleri lerzolitik kökenli pikritik ergiyigin kalıntı üst manto diapirleri içinde magma kanalları boyunca yükselimi sürecinde oluşmuştur. Kromit taneleri magma kanallarındaki boşluklarda, konveksiyon akıntıları kontrolünde birikmiştir.

A New Approach to the Generation of Chromite Bodies of Kefdağ and Soridağ (Guleman)

Abstract

Kefdağ ve Soridağ chromitite bodies were occured in the diapiric upper mantle residual peridotites. These are consist of harzburgite and dunite which are residiuals of the multi stage depleted upper mantle. Kefdağ and Soridağ chromitite bodies were occurred during the rising of the picritic melts of the fertile Iherzolitic origin through the residual upper mantle diapir along the magma conduits. Chromite grains were deposited in the caves of the magma conduits under the control of the convection currents.
