Altın; Ekonomik Yataklanma Tipleri, Arama Safhaları ve Maliyet

Year 1994, Volume: 18 Issue: 1, 50 - 61, 15.11.1994

Abstract

Gold; Economical Bedding Types, Search Phases and Cost

Year 1994, Volume: 18 Issue: 1, 50 - 61, 15.11.1994

Abstract

This study is a compilation work about the economic mineralization and types of deposition of gold, standing as privilaged metal among the other precious metals. Classification is made according to the mode of process where; brief considerations were accumulation and mineralization and named as placers and hydrothermals respectively. The classification is quite similar to Lindgren's (1933). Placer deposits, considering the age of formation, are subgrouped into two as young and fossil, whereas hydrothermal deposits, considering the temperature-pressure and depth of formation, are subgrouped into three and studied as epithermals and hypolhermals.
