Abstract

Poonam Sharma, Aruna Aggarwal Blastoschizomyces capitatus is an emerging fungal pathogen. We describe a case of fungal sinusitis and invasive fungal septicemia due to B. capitatus in a 65-year-old male patient who was a known cardiac and diabetic patient. The patient was treated with antibiotics but succumbed due to delay in treatment with amphotericin-B.
