Journal of Neurobehavioral Sciences (J Neuro Behav Sci) is a peer-reviewed, open access neuroscience journal with no publication fee. All editorial expenses are covered by Üsküdar University Press and Human Values and Mental Health Foundation. Each issue of the Journal of Neurobehavioral Sciences is specially prepared and provides an overview of important areas of neuroscience from the molecular to the behavioral level. Original articles, letters to the editor and reviews from leading researchers in the field are accepted. JNBS is published by Üsküdar University 3 times a year in electronic and printed form. The official language of JNBS is English. The average time from submission to the first decision is less than 30 days. Accepted articles are published online on average 40 working days before publication and in print within 36 months after acceptance. Information about article submission can be found in the "Guidelines for Manuscripts" section. You can send your support requests for the journal via jnbs@uskudar.edu.tr.
Purpose and Scope
JNBS (J. Neuro. Behav. Sci) is a comprehensive scientific journal in the field of behavioral sciences. It covers many disciplines and systems (e.g. neurophysiological, neuroscience systems) with behavioral (e.g. cognitive neuroscience) and clinical aspects, molecules (e.g. molecular neuroscience, biochemistry) and computational methods in health. The journal covers all areas of neuroscience with an emphasis on psychiatry and psychology as long as the goal is to identify the neural mechanisms underlying normal or pathological behavior. Preclinical and clinical studies are equally accepted for publication. In this context; articles of computational modeling methods of psychiatric and neurological disorders and treatment results are also included in the journal. JNBS pays special attention to psychiatric and neurological disorders. However, studies on normal human behavior are also considered. Animal studies and technical notes should have a clear relevance and applicability to human diseases.
Case Reports involving current neurological treatments or diagnostic methods are within the scope of JNBS. In addition, the scope of JNBS is not limited to the above-mentioned phenomena; publications produced from interdisciplinary studies in the following fields and behavioral sciences are also included in the studies that can be published in JNBS.
