International Journal of Behavior, Sustainability and Management (JOBESAM) is a scientific journal aiming to publish interdisciplinary and international research. In this context, the journal aims to publish original and qualified studies on social science-related subjects, especially in the fields of behavior, sustainability and management, at international standards and with a scientific approach. The journal is published regularly twice a year, in June and December.

i. International Journal of Behavior, Sustainability, and Management (JOBESAM) is published in both Turkish and English languages.
ii. There is no page limit for the articles submitted to JOBESAM.
iii. The submitted manuscripts should be written in Microsoft Office Word program, using A4 paper size format, 1.5 line spacing, justified alignment, and Times New Roman font with a font size of 12 points.
iv. All text, including references, citations, figures, graphs, and tables, should be written with a 1.5 line spacing. The margins of the document should be set to 2.5 cm on all sides. Tables that require larger dimensions can be adjusted by changing the page orientation to landscape.
v. The manuscripts should include the following sections in the following order: title (in Turkish and English), abstract (in Turkish and English), keywords, introduction, methodology, results, discussion, and references.
vi. The abstract, references, appendices, table titles, and figure captions should each start on a separate page. However, the sections of introduction, methodology, results, discussion, and conclusion and recommendations should not start on a new page. After one section ends, the next section should continue within the same page.
vii. The texts prepared under the headings "Türkçe Öz" (Turkish abstract) and "English Abstract" should be within the range of 150-250 words. Both the Turkish abstract and English abstract should be written in Times New Roman font with a font size of 10 points.
viii. All pages, including references, appendices, tables, figure titles, and figures, should be sequentially numbered. Page numbering should be positioned in the upper right corner of each page.
ix. Abbreviations used in the text should be spelled out in full the first time they are used, followed by the abbreviation in parentheses.
x. JOBESAM adopts the publication guidelines of the American Psychological Association (APA), specifically the 7th edition of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association.
xi. The authors are responsible for the accuracy of the references used in the text. The sources cited in the text should be provided both within the text itself and in the references section at the end of the manuscript. The references section should start on a new page and the sources should be listed in alphabetical order using a hanging indent format (1.25 cm). The references section should be written in Times New Roman font, size 10, with justified alignment.
xii. The citations within the text should only include the last names of the authors and the publication year of the source. If the source has one or two authors, the last names of all authors should be provided the first time the source is cited. If the source has three or more authors, the last name of the first author should be followed by "et al." in all instances within the text. Examples are provided below:
• Single author: (Smith, 2022)
• Two authors: (Johnson & Lee, 2020)
• Three or more authors: (Brown et al., 2019)
• Hovardaoğlu (2022) ...

xiii. Please refer to Chapters 8, 9, and 10 of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (7th Edition) for further guidelines regarding other formatting rules related to references.

The International Journal of Behavior, Sustainability and Management (JOBESAM) is based on the ethical principles guide and recommendation book (COPE Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors) published by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) within the scope of adherence to the rules related to publication ethics, and from all the stakeholders of the journal - editors, reviewers, authors, and publishers - ask them to consider the following responsibilities:

Editors' Ethical Responsibilities:

• Editors should respect intellectual property rights while evaluating the works and should strive to ensure that the evaluation and publication processes of the work are qualified and fast.
• The process steps of the work evaluation processes should be published openly and transparently.
• It should ensure that the process of evaluation and publication of the work is qualified and fast.
• Editors should appoint referees impartially in accordance with scientific evaluation principles and provide an environment of free thought.
• It is expected that the journal will bring together many academicians who are experts in different fields, and that the editor will expand the scientific committee pool of the journal by reaching these academics and inviting them to the journal.
• In order to make the work of the authors easier in the publication process in the journal, the editors should share a list containing the writing rules of the journal.
• Every step in the evaluation process of the work sent to the journal should be shared with the owner of the work. When a positive or negative decision is made about the work, this information should be shared with the owner of the work in detail and scientifically evaluated.
• In accordance with the principle of blind refereeing, the names and information of the authors and referees should be kept confidential and should not be shared.

Ethical Responsibilities of Referees:

• Referees should accept refereeing in studies that fall within their field of study and expertise. In order for the evaluation to be carried out effectively and accurately, it is very important that the referees accept the refereeing for the works that they trust in their competence.
• In accordance with the principle of blind refereeing, referees must keep their identities confidential. In addition, the referees should not reach information about the owners of the works they evaluate; otherwise, they should not evaluate the works of which they have knowledge about their owners, or they should terminate the task regarding the evaluated work and immediately contact the editor.
• The stages in the evaluation process must be completed within the given time.
• Referees are expected to approach the works they evaluate with an impartial and unbiased perspective.
• At the end of the peer review, the referees should share the evaluation report they prepared in a scientific and explanatory language with the editor.

Ethical Responsibilities of Authors:

• The work submitted by the author must not have been previously published in another journal and the similarity rate of the work should not be above the rate determined by the International Journal of Behavior, Sustainability and Management.
• In order to determine the originality of the works, a similarity report can be requested from the authors of the International Journal of Behavior, Sustainability and Management. Additionally, during the preliminary review stage, similarity (plagiarism) rates are checked using the iThenticate . The expected similarity rate  have not be more than 20%.
• The editorial board of the journal receives documents, information, etc. from the authors during the publication process. can request; The author must provide any required data.
• The author(s) must keep their identities confidential in order to make an impartial evaluation in accordance with the method of blind refereeing during the publication process.
• The author is expected to notify the journal editor immediately if there is an error or a situation that requires correction, which he noticed during the publication process.
• If there is an existing or potential conflict of interest between multiple authors who are stakeholders of the work, this should be reported to the editor.

Publisher's Responsibilities:

• The International Journal of Behavior, Sustainability and Management provides open, electronic and free access. All stakeholders of the journal are independent of the publisher, and all processes related to publication are carried out independently of the publisher.
  The submitted and accepted articles to the International Journal of Behavior, Sustainability, and Management are subjected to a bilateral check using  iThenticate to ensure that the similarity rates (plagiarism) are not above 20% before entering the publication process.
• The intellectual property rights of all stakeholders who contribute to the journal with their academic publications are reserved by the International Journal of Behavior, Sustainability and Management.

Licensing and Copyright:

The International Journal of International Business, Sustainability and Management is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0).

Under the following terms, authors are required to:
   Attribution — appropriate credit must be given, a link to the license must be provided, and if changes were made, you must indicate those changes. You can fulfill these conditions in an appropriate manner, but it does not indicate that the licensor endorses you or your use.
    NonCommercial — You may not use this material for commercial purposes.

Authors are allowed to use the following actions:
    Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format.
   Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, even commercially, as long as proper attribution is given to the author. 

Copyright:  Authors must complete the Copyright Transfer Form for submitted articles and writings.
In order for the article to be considered for evaluation, the signed and scanned version of the "International Journal of International Business, Sustainability and Management "Copyright and Declaration of Conflict of Interest Form" must be uploaded to the system. Open Access Policy (OAP):

The International Journal of Behavior, Sustainability and Management is a journal published as Open Access. The journal adopts the "Budapest Open Access Initiative (2022)" as its Open Access Policy.

Publication Process:

The publications sent to the journal by the author are evaluated in terms of compliance with the journal template, similarity rate and compliance with the journal subject/scope at the pre-control stage. Editors may decide to accept or reject at this stage; In addition, the author can withdraw his publication at this stage. The work, which passes the preliminary controls, is taken to the publication evaluation stage. The work is evaluated by at least 2 referees. As a result of the referee's evaluations, the owner of the work must make the necessary corrections within 15 days, and the author has the right not to make any corrections, provided that he gives a reason. The work that makes the corrections given by the referee and receives positive response is included in the publication process. The work is re-examined by the editors and technical editors within the framework of grammar and spelling rules, and is taken into layout processes for publication. At the last stage, the approval for publication is obtained from the owner of the work and sent for publication.

The process of acceptance and publication takes between 6-12 months with the first application of the author.
