A Bibliometric Study on Financial Inclusion

Year 2024, Volume: 9 Issue: Special Issue, 222 - 233

Abstract

Financial inclusion refers to the access of individuals, firms and societies to financial products and services, their capacity to benefit from these services and their participation in financial decision-making processes. In this context, many studies have been conducted in the literature on financial inclusion. Due to the increasing interest of researchers in financial inclusion, bibliometric analysis is important to help us understand and evaluate various aspects of scientific research. This study aims to conduct a bibliometric analysis on the concept of financial inclusion. The data used in the study were obtained from the Web of Science (WoS) database, which is frequently preferred in the field of social sciences. In the study, various inclusion and exclusion criteria were used in the WoS database and 2551 studies were obtained as the final data set. The data subject to this study were obtained on 08.04.2024 and the studies up to this date were included in the data set. As a result of the study, prominent sources, frequently used keywords, authors' contributions, most cited articles and trending topics were identified. The results obtained were then visualized.

Finansal Kapsayıcılık Üzerine Bibliyometrik Bir Araştırma

Year 2024, Volume: 9 Issue: Special Issue, 222 - 233
