Sleep Disorder During SARS-Cov-2 Infection: A Case Report

Year 2021, Volume: 7 Issue: 1, 18 - 22, 30.09.2021

Abstract

In the course of COVID-19 disease, a wide variety of organ and system involvements have been reported, as well as neurological involvement. Neurological picture caused by the disease include loss of taste and smell, sleep disorders, headache and meningitis. It has been suggested that sleep disorders may occur with the effect of stressor factors and immunological mechanisms that develop in various infection processes. In this article, we present a case who had no sleep disorder before, who described severe sleeplessness that started in the course of SARS-CoV-2 infection and returned to her old sleep pattern after COVID-19 treatment.

SARS-CoV-2 Enfeksiyonu Seyrinde Gelişen Uyku Bozukluğu: Olgu Sunumu

Year 2021, Volume: 7 Issue: 1, 18 - 22, 30.09.2021
