The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of health expenditures on tourism revenues and the share values of companies included in the BIST Health Index in Turkey. In the study, health expenditures were used as independent variables, tourism revenues and the returns of health companies operating in BIST were used as dependent variables. For this purpose, two different models were created. For this purpose, monthly data of 4 companies operating in BIST from April 2011 to July 2021 were used. ARDL was used as a method in the study. As a result of the analysis; With the cointegration test, it was concluded that there was a cointegrating relationship between the variables in both models. In addition, according to the results of the long- and short-term coefficient estimators, it is seen that the expansion in the volume of health expenditures contributes positively to the share values of the companies in the sector, and the increase in the health expenditures variable has a reducing effect on tourism revenues.
