Sporda Takım Akış Deneyiminin Değerlendirilmesi: Ölçek Uyarlama Çalışması

Year 2024, Volume: 4 Issue: 2, 64 - 73, 30.12.2024

Abstract

ASSESMENT OF TEAM FLOW EXPERIENCE IN SPORT: AN SCALE ADAPATATION STUDY

Year 2024, Volume: 4 Issue: 2, 64 - 73, 30.12.2024

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the psychometric proporties of Team Flow Monitoring Scale in sport. Three hundred team sport athletes (Mage = 22,75, SD=4,87)) voluntarily participated in the study (nfemale= 99; Mage = 22,44, SD = 5,06 years and nmale=201; Mage = 23,07, SD = 4,68 years). Team Flow Monitoring Scale is 7-likert type and consists of total of 36 items and 11 subdimensions. The construct validity of this scale was analyzed by Confirmatory Factor Analysis. Average Variance Extracted (AVE), Composite Reliability (CR), Maximum Squared Variance (MSV) ve Average Shared Square Variance (ASV) values were calculated to test concevrgent and divergent validity. The Cronbach Alpha internal consistency and composite reliability coefficients were used to test reliability. Confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) results supported the original factor structure of the scale (χ2/sd = 2,85 CFI = 0,97 NFI = 0,96 and RMSEA = 0,078). The values which were calculated for testing the divergent and convergent validity supported the validity of scale. The Cronbach Alpha internal consistency and composite reliability of the scale were between 0,75 and 0,93. In a conclusion, Team Flow Monitoring Scale is reliable and valid to measure the team flow experience among team sport athletes
