The analysis of FinTech sector in Turkey

Abstract

The rapid developments in technology and digital transformation in the recent period cause radical changes in social life and the business world. FinTech, which emerged with its influence in digital transformation, is one of the most popular topics of the last period with the innovative solutions it provides. FinTech, which was established to change and improve the technological background of consumers and financial institutions in the first place, is defined as a technological innovation that aims to strengthen competition with financial methods. In today's world, where the competitive conditions are changing rapidly, companies are in an effort to reshape their services regardless of the sector. This process, mainly driven by competition and consumer demands, requires companies to produce faster and safer solutions. This study attempt to analyze FinTech Sector in Turkey. Besides, in this study, information is given about the term FinTech, its historical process, and its ecosystem.
