Yükseköğretim kurumlarında gerçekleştirilen mentorluk araştırmalarının içerik analiz yöntemi ile incelenmesi

Year 2019, Volume: 2 Issue: 2, 27 - 42, 30.12.2019

Abstract

Bununla
birlikte araştırmalarda kullanılan yöntemler, yayınların yayınlanma
tarih aralığı
, örneklem dağılımı ve çalışmalar sonucunda ulaşılan
bulgular ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır. Bu çalışma yükseköğretim kurumlarında
gerçekleştirilen mentorluk çalışmalarının belirlenen amaçlar kapsamında
incelenmesi ve sonuçlarının yorumlanmasıyla, mentorluğun yükseköğretim kurumları
açısından önemini ortaya çıkarabilecektir.

An investigation of mentoring research conducted in the higher education institutions by content analysis method

Year 2019, Volume: 2 Issue: 2, 27 - 42, 30.12.2019

Abstract

The
aim of this study is to investigate the scientific publications in domestic and
foreign literature related to mentoring studies in higher education with
content analysis methods within the scope of determined themes.
With the
communication provided between a mentor who has conceptual experience and
knowledge and the young adult who is seen as inadequate in terms of knowledge
and experience, the young adult; adaptation to the working process, the
transfer of experience and help to increase the knowledge can be summarized as
the process.
The
content analysis method was used in the research. Content
analysis is a qualitative research method that is carried out by an in-depth
examination of the academic studies conducted in the field.
Content
analysis studies are very important in terms of contributing to the related
literature by summarizing the academic publications reviewed.
Within
the scope of the study, 35 articles published in the national and international
literature between 2009-2019 and available to them were examined within the
framework of this purpose.
In addition, the methods
used in the research, publication date of publication, sample distribution and
the findings obtained as a result of studies have been tried to be revealed.

This
study will be able to reveal the importance of mentoring in terms of higher
education institutions by examining the results of mentoring activities carried
out in higher education institutions within the scope of the determined
objectives and interpreting the results.
