Determination of Trace Elements in Deodorant and Mascara Samples with Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry

Abstract

Cosmetics are chemical compounds with quite complex structures and therefore, their effects after use on human health is of great importance. Today, when the use of cosmetic products is considered, the contents of them is of utmost importance. Therefore, it is needed to determine the trace element content of cosmetic products and being kept under control. This study reports about the determination of trace elements found in several deodorant and mascara samples with Graphite Furnace Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry.
