Dīvān Luγāt at-Turk about almost all of the common structures in dialects. Also we find the oldest information in this source as well about cognate verbs which is seen as a common feature of today’s Turkic languages. Many of studies on cognate verbs touched on examples of this structure in historical periods. All examples in Dīvān Luγāt at-Turk were not given in these researches. Generalization was preferred by using more sampling method. The extent of changes in usage areas of cognate structures complement elements was not handled much. In this study, cognate verbs examples which shows a different aspect of predicate and complement connection in Turkish language syntax (with another name as “verbs with internal objects”) in Dīvān Luγāt at-Turk yaqıγ yaq-, bitig biti-, barïγ bar-, äsin äs-, äsin äsnä-, tügün tüg-, töšäk töšä-, bürmä bürüš-, qopuz qopuza-, yük yüklä-, tüpi tüpir- etc. will be detected and evaluated within the framework of information which has given by Kaşgārī regarding the issue. Emphasis will be given on these examples are how compatible with ‘being with internal objects’ or not.
