He completed his B.Sc. degree in the Physics Department in 2002 at Firat University, Elazig, Türkiye. He received an M.Sc. and Ph.D. in General Physics in 2005 and 2011 from Firat University. He has been a full professor at Firat University (Department of Physics) since 2020. His research interests include bioceramics (hydroxyapatite and beta-tricalcium phosphate), glass-ceramics, metal oxides, spinels, and X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis. He has more than 100 papers published in international journals and 160 presentations at international conferences. His h-index is 29, and he has more than 2300 citations.
