Okullarda Transteoretik Model Temelli Güvenli Bisiklet Kullanma Davranışını Geliştirme Programı

Abstract

Bu derleme makalesinin amacı çocuk ve adölesanları bisiklet kaza ve yaralanmalarından korumak için okullarda transteoretik model temelli güvenli bisiklet kullanma davranışını geliştirme programını tanıtmaktır. Bisiklet kullanma, sağlığın geliştirilmesi içinönerilen, fiziksel, sosyal ve psikolojik yönden birçok yararı olan eğlenceli bir aktivitedir. Ancak, bisiklet kullanmaya yönelik güvenli davranışlar geliştirilmedikçekaza ve yaralanmalar sonucu engellilik ve erken ölümler görülmektedir. Bunu önlemek için okul yıllarından itibaren güvenli bisiklet kullanma davranışları öğretilerek, kalıcı davranış değişikliği sağlanmalıdır. Davranış değişikliğinin gerçekleşmesinde teorilere temellendirilmiş modellerin kullanılması başarılı sonuçlar sağladığı için önerilmektedir. Bu amaçla Transteoretik Model Temelli Güvenli Bisiklet Kullanma Programı oluşturulmuştur. Program, Transteoretik Model değişim aşamalarına uygun, bilişsel ve davranışsal değişim süreçlerini kullanarak davranış değiştirmeyi sağlayan girişimleri sunmaktadır. Ayrıca güvenli bisiklet kullanma davranış değişimi için bilinçlenme ve farkındalığın arttırılmasına yönelik eğitim içeriği,model temel alınarak oluşturulmuştur. Güvenli bisiklet kullanma eğitim içeriğinde; 1.Vücut Ölçülerine Uygun Bisiklet Kullanma, 2.Koruyucu Ekipman Kullanma, 3.Bisiklet Kontrolünü Yapma, 4.Ergonomi, 5.Trafikte Bisiklet Kullanımı ve 6.Egzersiz yapma olmak üzere altı temel başlığa yer verilmiştir. Güvenli bisiklet kullanımının tanımı ve kapsamı da ilk defa bu derleme makalesinde ele alınmıştır. Geliştirilen programın okul hemşireleri tarafından, eğitim müfredatı içeriğine entegre edilerek kullanılması önerilmektedir.
