RARE CAUSE OF SCHOCK DURING THE OPERATION; ANAPHYLAXIS DUE TO LIVER HYDATID CYST RUPTURE. Case report
Abstract
Hydatid disease is a parasitic infection caused by echinococcus granulosus and echinococcus alveolaris. This infection is characterized by cyst formation and the liver is the most commonly involved organ. The rupture of the hydatid cysts spontaneously, by external traumas or during surgical operations causes anaphylactic schock and conditions that can extend to death. Anaphylaxis possibility should be in mind if a sudden tachicardia and decreasing arterial blood presurre develops during hydatid cyst operations. In our opinion, keeping in mind the possibility of anaphylaxis and being ready to this condition in hydatid cyst operations can decrease mortality and morbidity seriously. In this case report we presented a anaphylactic reaction after the rupture of a hydatid cyst during a liver hydatid cyst excision surgery and discused it accompaniment to literature.
