ANESTETIC MANAGEMENT OF A VALLECULAR CYST; A CASE REPORT.

Abstract

However the vallecular cyst are rare in adults, the symptoms are non specific. Because of this diagnosis is usually late, treatment is easy but severe challenges in anesthesia may be seen for airway management during anesthesia induction. In this paper, we report anesthesia management of a 60 year-old male who had vallecular cyst a size of 2.5x3.5x2 cm and lies through the base of tongue and left of vallecula and treated with cyst excision.
