OMENTAL PLUG TECHNIQUE IN GIANT DUODENAL PERFORATION

Abstract

Giant duodenal ulcer perforations form the 1-2% of all perforations.The morbidity and mortality rates are high in these patients. The repair of these defects are difficult.Most of the time Graham duodenoraphy was used for repair. We are presenting two patients with giant duodenal ulcer perforations (larger than 2.5 cm) who were successfully treated with omental plug technique.

Dev duodenal perforasyonlarda omental tıkaç tekniği

Abstract

Dev duodenal ülser perforasyonları tüm perforasyonların %1-2’sini oluşturur. Ancak bu hastalarda morbidite ve mortalite oranları daha yüksektir. Bu geniş defektlerin onarımı birçok olguda ciddi problem olarak görülmektedir. Sıklıkla uygulanan cerrahi tamir yöntemi omentum ile yapılan Graham usulü duodenal rafidir.Dev duodenal perforasyona bağlı geniş defektlerle opere ettiğimiz (2.5 cm’den büyük) ve omental plag tekniğini uyguladığımız iki olgumuzu sunmak istedik.
