Warm-Up habits of amateur football players who play football on synthetic football field: A cross-sectional study in Isparta province

Abstract

The aim of this study is to examine the warming habits of amateur football players on the synthetic football field. Individuals who go to play football on the carpet fields in the city center of Isparta were invited to participate in our research. Not having any known health problems, being over the age of 18 and playing football as an amateur on the carpet field were the inclusion criteria of the research. Being under the age of 18 and not being able to actively play football on the football field due to any injury are the exclusion criteria of the study. After the descriptive information of those who volunteered to participate in the study were recorded, the “Athlete Warming Up Habit” questionnaire was answered by the participants. 3,5% (n:4) of the participants were female and 96,5% (n:110) were male. The mean age of the volunteers was 25,15±7,46 years. The most common level of education of the participants was undergraduate graduation with 63,2%. 29,8% (n=34) of the participants had no previous sports-related injury. The rate of those who regularly did the warm-up exercise before football was determined as 36,8%. According to the answers given to the “Athlete Warming Habits” questionnaire, it was determined that the participants lacked knowledge about the warm-up exercise. Sports injury rates of individuals playing football on the football field are high, and their knowledge and habits of warm-up exercise are low. Individuals who play soccer on the football field at recreational level should be increased in knowledge about warm-up exercise, and it should be ensured that they gain warm-up exercise habits.

Halı sahada amatör futbol oynayanların ısınma alışkanlıkları: Isparta ilinde kesitsel bir araştırma

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, halı sahada amatör futbol oynayanların ısınma alışkanlıklarının incelenmesidir. Isparta il merkezinde, halı sahalarda futbol oynamaya giden bireylerden, bilinen herhangi bir sağlık sorunu olmayan 18 yaşın üstündeki amatör futbolcular araştırmaya dahil edilmiştir. Herhangi bir yaralanma nedeniyle aktif olarak halı sahada futbol oynayamayan ve 18 yaşından küçük olanlar ise araştırmaya dahil edilmemiştir. Araştırmaya katılmaya gönüllü olanların tanımlayıcı bilgileri kaydedildikten sonra “Sporcu Isınma Alışkanlığı” anket formu katılımcılar tarafından cevaplanmıştır. Katılımcıların %3,5 (n:4)’i kadın, %96,5 (n:110)’i ise erkektir. Gönüllülerin yaş ortalaması 25,15±7,46 yıldır. Katılımcıların %63,2’sinin eğitim düzeyi lisans mezuniyetidir. Katılımcıların %29,8’i (n=34) daha önce spor ile ilişkili yaralanma geçirmemiştir. Futbol öncesi ısınma egzersizini devamlı yapanların oranı %36,8 olarak belirlenmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda “Sporcu Isınma Alışkanlığı” anket formuna verilen cevaplara göre katılımcıların ısınma egzersizi konusunda bilgi eksiklerinin olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Halı sahada futbol oynayan bireylerin spor yaralanması oranları yüksek, ısınma egzersizi bilgisi ve alışkanlıkları düşüktür. Rekreatif düzeyde halı sahada futbol oynayan bireylerin ısınma egzersizi konusundaki bilgi düzeyleri artırılmalı, ısınma egzersizi alışkanlıklarını kazanmaları sağlanmalıdır.
