Blinded Review Policy

At the Journal of Studies in Advanced Technologies, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity and quality in the peer review process. To ensure a fair and unbiased evaluation of manuscripts, we employ a double-blind review policy. This means that the identities of both the authors and the reviewers are concealed throughout the review process.

Key Principles of Our Blinded Review Policy
1. Author Anonymity:

Manuscripts submitted for review should not contain any information that identifies the authors. This includes names, affiliations, acknowledgements, and any other information that might reveal the authors’ identities.
Authors are responsible for ensuring that their manuscript and any accompanying files are anonymized before submission.

2. Reviewer Anonymity:
Reviewers are also anonymous to the authors to prevent any potential biases. Reviewer identities will not be disclosed to authors at any stage of the review process.

3. Manuscript Preparation:
Authors should prepare their manuscripts in a way that omits personal information. References to the authors' previous work should be written in the third person to maintain anonymity.

4. Submission Process:
During the submission process, authors will be asked to provide a separate title page with author details, which will be kept confidential by the editorial team.
The main manuscript file should be anonymized, containing no author identifiers.

5. Reviewer Selection:
Reviewers are selected based on their expertise and qualifications. They are tasked with providing constructive and unbiased feedback on the manuscript.

6. Editorial Responsibility:
The editorial team is responsible for ensuring that the double-blind review process is strictly followed. They will handle all communications between authors and reviewers to maintain anonymity.

Benefits of Blinded Review
Reduces Bias: The double-blind review process minimizes biases based on the authors’ identities, affiliations, or reputations.
Ensures Fairness: Manuscripts are judged solely on their academic merit, methodology, and contribution to the field.
Promotes Integrity: Maintaining anonymity helps uphold the integrity of the review process and the credibility of the journal.

Maintaining Confidentiality
All participants in the review process are expected to adhere to strict confidentiality regarding the content of the manuscripts and the identities of the reviewers. Any breach of confidentiality may result in disciplinary action and will be addressed promptly by the editorial team.
By adhering to this blinded review policy, the Journal of Studies in Advanced Technologies aims to foster a transparent, equitable, and rigorous peer review process that contributes to the advancement of knowledge and technology.
