The author focuses on the theory of globalization and the nation-states in this article. It is argued that the nation-states loose their power and sovereignty during the globalization process. Moreover, the author explains the current World system as developed countries vs. under-developed countries. Furthermore, he argues that this division could be explained by East and West division. However, this division has changed its content at present and it is re- shaped as North and South. The author advocates that there are North American, European, Chinese, Arabic, Israeli, Japanese and Russian approaches to globalization, but South America, Africa and some Asian countries lack such an approach, thereby risking the failure of adaptation to global developments.
