Companies classify inventory items using multiple-criteria via ABC analysis principles and then apply inventory management policies in accordance with the assigned classes’ characteristics.
Different kinds of models, such as; linear programming, analytic hierarchy process (AHP), cluster analysis, and etc. are used in those analysis. In the results obtained in the models used, the scores and classes of the stock items differ. This situation is challenging for decision makers. Managers often need to unify results obtained using multiple models to make more accurate decisions.
To this end, in this paper, a group decisions protocol, Borda–Condorcet rule (Herrero C, and Villar A., 2021) is used to classify inventory items, classified using multiple criteria ABC models.
