The very essence that which makes man an honorable one and accordingly requires others to behave him accordingly is something over which a hot debate has long been going on. Whether man has some innate values which make him far more important than other beings or he is just ordinary one like other creatures comprise one aspect of this debate. Existentialist and nihilistic conceptions of man deny that man has some inborn values, on the contrary they claim that man is what he makes himself up. All these debates lead us to rethink what construct man as real one. The following paper tackles this aspect of the problem on the one hand, and tries to correlate this source of honor with both this aforementioned inborn values and with man?s being a social/communal being.
