Jülide Yıldırım Öcal was graduated from METU Department of Economics in 1989. She obtained her BSc degree in Economics from Bilkent University in 1990; and her Economics – Econometrics PhD degree from University of Manchester School of Economic Studies in 1997. She worked for Afyon Kocatepe University and Gazi University before joining TED University
She teaches macroeconomics, health economics, health policy and planning, econometrics and panel data analysis at both undergraduate and graduate levels. She has published mainly on regional economics, defence economics, monetary economics and spatial econometrics.
Economist with over 10 years of academic and research experience, currently serving as Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Economics and Finance at Samsun University. Expertise spans Microeconomic Theory, Applied Micro-Econometrics, Environmental & Energy Economics, and Behavioral Finance. Proven track record in academic leadership as Vice Dean. Dedicated researcher with a robust publication pipeline in climate policy, agricultural economics, and financial markets. Skilled in STATA, R, ArcGIS, and IMPLAN.

Nadir Öcal lisans ve yüksek lisans eğitimini Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi’nde tamamlamıştır. The University of Manchester’da bütünleşik doktora eğitimini tamamlamıştır. Ekonometri, doğrusal ve doğrusal olmayan zaman serisi modelleri, mekânsal ekonometri, finansal ekonometri, alanlarında çalışan Öcal Çankaya Üniversitesi’nde akademik görevine devam etmektedir.
