Deprem ve Kadın Üreme Sağlığı

Abstract

Doğal afetlerde kayıp, yerinden edilme, göç ve artçı sarsıntılar fiziksel ve ruhsal açıdan kadınlarda sağlığı olumsuz yönde etkilemektedir. Yaşanan felaket sonucunda sağlık ve sosyal hizmetlere ihtiyaç artmaktadır, özellikle akut dönemde hizmette aksamalar yaşanmaktadır. Üreme sağlığı hizmetleri göz ardı edilmekte ve acil olmadıkça üreme sağlığı hizmetlerine yer verilmemektedir. Üreme sağlığı kapsamında doğum öncesi bakım alma, aile planlaması hizmetleri ve jinekolojik tanı ve tedavi süreçleri kesintiye uğramaktadır. Afetler sonrası yeterli, sürekli ve etkin şekilde üreme sağlığı hizmetlerinin sunulması, anne ve çocuk sağlığını doğrudan etkilemektedir. Deprem gibi sarsıcı etkisi yüksek olan doğal afetler sonrası sahada ve bağlı oldukları kurumlarda görevini aralıksız sürdüren hemşire ve ebeler, sağlık bakım hizmeti sunumunda kadınların üreme sağlığını sorunlarının dikkate alınması ve çözüm üretilmesinde aktif rol almalıdır.
