Abstract
Muhsin Alev established good relations with Zübeyir Gündüzalp, one of prominent students of Said Nursi. After graduating the high school in 1949, he went to Istanbul and registered as a student in the Faculty of law in Istanbul University. After Zübeyir Gündüzalp telling him he would better serve RN if he would registered in philosophy, he withdrew his registration from the faculty of law, then he registered at the department of philosophy. However, he preferred to study psychology and sociology and he graduated from both of these departments. In 1949, he went to Afyon for attending and listen one of the hearings of Bediüzzaman Said Nursi. He saw Bediüzzaman first time in this court. Because of being tired, Bediüzzaman accidentally leaned on him in one time during the hearing.
While he was studying his university courses, he was also trying to popularize books from RN Collection and even persuaded to publish some of the little books of in RN Collections with the new alphabet. One of the most important incidences was publication of the book titled “A Guide for Youth” in 1951 together with his friends. This is because; this publication affair carried in to the court. Even though the book was published by his own effort, Bediüzzaman and the owner of the press were accused as the author of the book, and publishers, but he treated as one of the whiteness’. After, the court ended with an absolution in January 22, 1952, Bediüzzamant went to Emirdağ town of Afyon in April 1953. But, he accused violating the hat law and enforced to go to the Police Station there. Because news on this incidence is published in the news paper Büyük Cihad published in Samsun, he sued in Samsun.
