1. There is article publication or processing charges for articles submitted to the Journal of Public Administration and Policy.
2. No royalties are paid to the author or authors for the papers published in the journal.
3. The citation forms for the studies submitted to the journal should be made according to the APA.
4. The papers written in Turkish, German, Russian and English can be published in the journal. The responsibility of the studies published in the journal in terms of science and language belongs to the authors/authors.
5. The studies submitted to the journal should not have been published anywhere before and submitted for publication.
6. In the journal, not only academicians, but also practitioners and researchers will be taken into the evaluation process in future studies.
7. The studies submitted to the Journal of Public Administration and Policy should be prepared within the framework of the article writing template and published in Word format (.docx) must be installed on the system.
8. The papers submitted to the journal will be reviewed by the editorial board at the pre-check stage (plagiarism rate, article template compliance, copyright form, author information form, shape requirements, ethical principles and publication policy) and the papers deemed appropriate will be accepted into the evaluation process.
9. The studies submitted to the journal and passed the preliminary control stage within the framework of the eighth article are sent to at least two reviewers. Double-blind reviewing system is applied in the journal. Studies that have received a positive opinion from the reviewers or have been accepted by the reviewers after corrections are included in the publication process. If a positive and a negative return is received from the reviewers, the study is sent to a third reviewer by the Editorial Board. The acceptance of the study into the publication process is made according to the decision of the third arbitrator and the evaluation of the Editorial Board. No refereeing suggestions are received from the authors or third parties in any way. Reviewer appointments and processes are carried out by the Editorial Board.
10. The studies submitted to the journal for publication should be prepared in accordance with the ethical principles. For research conducted and for clinical and experimental studies on humans and animals that require an ethics committee decision, separate ethics committee approval must be obtained, this approval must be specified and documented in the article. In studies requiring the permission of the ethics committee, information about the permission (board name, date and number no) should be provided in the method section. In case reports, it is necessary to include information that the informed consent form has been signed in the article. The studies of the author or authors who do not submit documents, even if the ethics committee requires permission, will be rejected without being evaluated.
11. In accordance with the peer review, It can be decided to publish the article in line with the reviewer’s evaluations, to request minor or major corrections, additional information and abbreviations within the framework of the evaluation report, or not to publish it. These decisions are reported to the author or authors via the system. The author or authors are obliged to make the specified corrections. The studies of the author or authors who have requested correction and have not made a correction within the 30-day period are REJECTED.
12. The evaluation process is completed and the Editorial Board determines when and in what number the studies included in the publication process will be published. An acceptance e-mail is sent to the authors or authors of the studies accepted for publication through the DergiPark system.
13. Articles published in the journal are available for reference in accordance with our Open Access Policy and the Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0).
14. The opinions contained in the articles published in the journal and the responsibility related to it belong to the author or his authors.
15. If the work submitted for publication in the journal was produced from a dissertation or was held at a meeting (conference, symposium, etc.) if it has been submitted, this should be stated in the author's information form.
16. Applications for articles that do not comply with the principles of publication of the Journal of Public Administration and Policy will be REJECTED. Articles whose deficiencies are determined later will be rejected by terminating the processes no matter what stage they are at.
The Journal of Public Administration and Policy is an internationally indexed, peer-reviewed journal periodically and electronically published in March, July and November.
