Benay Gürsoy is an Assistant Professor of Architecture and the founder and director of ForMat (Form and Matter) Lab at Penn State. Her research and teaching focus is on computational making, digital fabrication, biofabrication, and shape studies. Benay completed her PhD studies in Architectural Design Computing Program at Istanbul Technical University in 2016, and her master's and bachelor's degrees in METU in 2010 and 2007, respectively.
