Penetrating Stab Wound Of The Right Ventricule

Abstract

18 years old male patient was admitted to our emergency unit with a penetrating stab wound to the right ventricule. A stab wound to the right ventricle was found to be 3 cm in diameter. The bleeding was controlled by insertion of a Foley catheter and inflation of the balloon. The stab wound had transected distal acute marginal side of the right coronary artery. A successful repair was performed with the use of a foley catheter and application of the Medtronic Octopus Tissue Stabilization System. The wound was closed with pledgeted mattress sutures. The distal acute marginal side of the right coronary artery was ligated. In this presentation, the surgical intervention method was reported and followed by a discussion of emergency surgical procedures of the heart.

Sa¤ Ventriküle Penetre Eden Yaralanma

Abstract

18 yafl›nda erkek hasta sa¤ ventriküle penetre eden yaralanma sonras› acil klini¤imize baflvurdu. Sa¤ ventriküle penetre eden yaralanman›n 3 cm çap›nda oldu¤u tespit edildi. Kanama, Foley sondan›n yaralanma bölgesinden sa¤ ventriküle do¤ru konulmas› ve fliflirilmesi sayesinde kontrol alt›na al›nd›. Bu yaralanma sa¤ koroner arterin akut marjinal dal›n›n distal k›sm›n› transekte etmiflti. Sa¤ ventrikül tamiri Foley sonda ve Medtronic Octopus Tissue Stabilization System kullan›larak baflar›l› bir flekilde gerçeklefltirildi. Sa¤ ventrikül üzerindeki yaralanma teflon destekli matris dikifllerle tamir edildi. Sa¤ koroner arterin distal akut marjinal dal› ba¤land›. Bu olgu sunumunda, uygulanan cerrahi yöntem anlat›m› eflli¤inde, kalbe acil cerrahi giriflimler konusu tart›fl›lmaktad›r.
