A Left Atrium Myxoma Case With A History Of Stroke On Whom A Coronary Bypass Surgery Was Performed

Abstract

Cardiac myxomas are the most frequently encountered benign cardiac tumors in adult groups. Patients with myxoma may suffer from variety of clinical features. A patient who had suffered from stroke a year ago came to our hospital with a chest pain complaint. In the echocardiography of the patient suffering from acute coronary syndrome, left ventricular disfunction and left atrial mass was determined. In the coronary angiography, LAD and Cx critical stenosis, and an abnormal feeding artery which roots from Cx performed was observed. LIMA-AD, Ao-RCA bypass and mass exision withleft atriotomy was made. Cardiac tumor embolism which makes up a rare cause of cerebral embolies should be considered especially in patients with sinus rhythm. In the coronary angiography the feeding artery of the myxoma was shown. A patient who has underwent coronary bypass operation and left atrial myxoma exision has been presented as a case.

‹nme Öyküsü Olan ve Koroner Baypas Cerrahisi Uygulanan Sol Atriyal Miksoma Olgusu

Abstract

Kardiyak miksomalar eriflkin yafl grubunda en s›k rastlanan iyi huylu kalp tümörleridir. Miksomal› hastalar çok farkl› klinikle baflvurabilir. Bir y›l önce serebral infarkt geçirmifl hasta gö¤üs a¤r›s›yla acile baflvurdu. Akut koroner sendrom tan›s› konulan hastan›n ekokardiyografisinde sol ventrikül disfonksiyonu ve sol atriyal kitle tespit edildi. Koroner anjiyografide LAD ve Cx kritik darl›k, Cx'den köken alan anormal besleyici damar izlendi. Hastaya kalp damar cerrahi ekibimiz taraf›ndan L‹MA-AD, Ao-RCA ikili bypass ve sol atriyotomi ile kitle eksizyonu uyguland›. Serebral embolilerin nadir bir sebebini oluflturan, kardiyak tümör embolisi özellikle sinüs ritmindeki hastalarda düflünülmelidir. Koroner anjiyografide miksoman›n besleyici damar yap›s› gösterildi. Koroner bypass cerrahisi ve sol atrial miksoma eksiyonu uygulanan inme geçirmifl hasta vaka olarak sunulmufltur.
