Isolated Congenital Left Ventricular Diverticulum

Abstract

Congenital left ventricular diverticula are rare and usually asymptomatic. Generally other cardiac malformations accompany and they are diagnosed during early childhood. In this article we report a 70-year-old female patient with preoperative chest pain in whom a contractile isolated left ventricular diverticulum is found during left ventriculography. The coronary arteries were normal and she had no other congenital abnormalities. We decided to follow-up the patient medically.

İzole Konjenital Sol Ventrikül Divertikülü

Abstract

Konjenital sol ventrikül divertikülleri nadir görülür ve genellikle asemptomatiktir. Sıklıkla diğer kardiyak anomalilerle birlikte görülür ve erken çocukluk döneminde saptanır. Bu yazıda, preoperatif dönemde göğüs ağrısı şikayeti olan ve sol ventrikülografide gerçek kontraktil izole sol ventrikül divertikülü saptanan 70 yaşındaki bir kadın hasta sunuldu. Koroner arterleri normal bulunan ve başka bir doğuştan anomali saptanmayan hastanın medikal olarak izlenmesine karar verildi.
