Abstract

The concept of the positive changes after trauma has been recently described, whereas several reported studies focused on the negatif effects of trauma in the literature. Enhanced functionality in life, taking a step for self actualization, establishing intimacy in interpersonal relations after a life crisis are defined with the help of posttraumatic growth concept. In this article, we focused on the concept of posttraumatic growth including theoretical framework, the components and affecting variables of posttraumatic growth
