Multidisipliner Team Work Practice for Victim of Earthquake in a University Hopsital

Abstract

Turkey is situated on one of the most important quake zones; thus is in a state of acountry bearing the quake risk at most and getting dameged too much. As the locations the quakes occured were settlements and densely populated areas, lots of people died and economıc losses emerged. İn Marmara region of Turkey, at Kocaeli and Sakarya locations, the eartquake took place on 17 August 1999, with a severity of 7.4 was felt in a rather wide are a and resulted in destructive of too many buldings, while vvoulding persons. There were ezcessıve loss of lives. After this event vvhich attracted attention in the vvorld too, many countries by providing rescue, medical çare, financial aid in form of money, goods and vehicles, assisted created by this eartquake. This study is include 74 eartquake victim and relationship with team works in University of Ankara, Ibn-i Sina Hospital, Consuitation Liyezon Psychiatry Unit.
