Abstract
Our research has been conducted
among female psychotıc patıents at the Erenköy
Psychologıcal sanıtary hospıtal for studyıng the effects
of a cat on theır adaptatıon process to the
respectıve clınıcal department The result was posıtıve
as the most of the patıents who prevıously
had rejected the treatment and had had dıffıculty m
communıcatıng by theır rather ıntrovertıes began to
establısh better relatıons wıth the others and fınally
accepted the treatment
