Divorce is both a social & psychologicalprocess that would be completed in a long period of time and acomplera and multidimentional phenomenon. This process could differaccording to societies cultures and personal differences. Related with these differences, thereare many different theroies foesihted to ereplainthe period of divorce. As a psycho-socialprocess, divorce could be shoped with differentdynamics of eveney people. Crisses Theory,Mourning Theory and Erikson’s psycho-socialDevelopment Theory howe strong relations withthe process of divorce. In the mourning theory,divorce is experienced as a loss like a periodafter the loss of a family member. Especially,when one of the family members is not ready forthe divorce or there is a disagreement betweenthem, this process would create a crisis. Inevery divorce process, these models or at leastone of these models could be lived clearly. Inthis study; the divorce process will be examinedwithin this framework
