Asemptomatik Genç Yetişkinlerde Vücut Kitle İndeksinin Spinopelvik Parametrelere Etkisi

Abstract

Giriş: Obezite en önemli halk sağlığı sorunlarından biridir ve çeşitli kas-iskelet bozuklukları,

özellikle de omurganın bozulması ile ilişkilidir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, asemptomatik

genç yetişkinlerde vücut kitle indeksi (VKİ) ve spinopelvik parametreler (pelvik

tilt, sakral slope ve pelvik insidans) arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemektir.

Materyal ve Metod: Bu çalışmada toplam 156 (105 erkek ve 51 kadın) sağlıklı yetişkin

birey analiz edildi. Bireylerin yaş, cinsiyet ve vücut kitle indeksleri (kilogram olarak

vücut ağırlığının metre cinsinden boy uzunluğunun karesine bölünmesi) kaydedildi.

Ayakta lumbosakral lateral grafiler çekilerek spinopelvik parametrelere ait ölçümler

elde edildi. VKİ'nin spinopelvik parametreler ile ilişkisi istatistiksel olarak analiz edildi.

p<0.05 değeri istatistiksel olarak anlamlı kabul edildi.

Bulgular: Hastaların yaş ortalaması 26.8 ± 5.2 yıl ve VKİ ortalaması 25.80 ± 4.02

kg / m2 idi. Altmış üç hasta (40.4%) normal kiloda (VKİ 17.26–24.9 kg/m2), yetmiş iki

hasta (46.2%) aşırı kilolu (VKİ 25–29.9 kg/m2) ve yirmi bir hasta (13.4%) obez olarak

bulundu. (VKİ>30). Pelvik tilt, pelvik insidans ve sakral slope ölçümleri ve vücut kitle

indeks ölçümleri arasında istatistiksel olarak önemli fark bulundu.

Sonuç: Obezite spinopelvik parametrelerde istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir artış ile ilişkilidir.

Obezitenin önlenmesi lumbosakral birleşme noktasındaki aşırı yüklenme ile ilişkili

olan dejeneratif problemleri önleyebilir.
