Vitamin D ve Kalsiyum Takviyesi

Abstract

D vitamini, vitamin olarak adlandırılmış olmasına rağmen aslında steroid yapıda bir
prehormondur ve kalsiyum-fosfor metabolizması ve kemik döngüsü başta olmak üzere
birçok sistem üzerine etkileri mevcuttur. D vitamini eksikliği ırk, bölge, güneş ışığı
alma oranına, kültürel ve beslenme özelliklerine göre değişir. D vitamini eksikliği için
toplum taraması önerilmemektedir, sadece yüksek riskli kişilerin taraması yapılmalıdır.
D vitamini eksikliğinin tedavisi tüm hastalar için oldukça önemlidir.
