Abstract

Abstract

Lice infestation affects many of people around the world, particularly children. Although it is commonly considered as a result of poor hygiene condition, it may be a problem in every social status. Furthermore, the estimated total cost of infestation may beas high as billion dollars in some developed countries such as United States. The management strategies should be determined according to the efficacy, convenience, safety, and also environmental-safety profile of medications, as a result.

Bit enfestasyonları özellikle çocuklar olmak üzere dünya çapında bir çok insanı etkilemektedir. Genellikle kötü hijyen koşullarının bir sonucu olarak değerlendirilmesine rağmen, her sosyal tabakada problem olabilmektedir. Dahası hesaplanmış total maliyeti Amerika Birleşik Devletleri gibi gelişmiş bazı ülkelerde milyar dolarları bulabilmektedir. Sonuç olarak, tedavi stratejilerine ilaçların etkililiği, rahat kullanımı, güvenliği ve aynı zamanda çevre güvenliğine göre karar verilmelidir.
