Anti-infective Properties of Cistus Incanus, a Plant Extract

Year 2017, Volume: 9 Issue: 1, 16 - 18, 25.01.2017

Abstract

Abstract

The most common diseases in the world are upper respiratory tract infections, resulting in substantial morbidity, mortality, and financial loss. Viruses are reported  to be the most important pathogens involved. Several antiviral compounds have been developed. Cystus 052, a plant extract from a special variety of Cistusincanus that is rich in polymeric polyphenols, has been shown to exhibit antiviralactivity. In this article, the properties and efficacy of Cistus incanusis reviewed.

Cistus Incanus Bitki Özünün Anti-Enfektif Özellikleri

Year 2017, Volume: 9 Issue: 1, 16 - 18, 25.01.2017
