Abstract

Abstract

Lice infestation affects many of people around the world, particularly children. Although it is commonly considered as a result of poor hygiene condition, it may be a problem in every social status. Furthermore, the estimated total cost of infestation may beas high as billion dollars in some developed countries such as United States. The management strategies should be determined according to the efficacy, convenience, safety, and also environmental-safety profile of medications, as a result.

Abstract

Öz

Bit enfestasyonları özellikle çocuklar olmak üzere dünya çapında bir çok insanı et-kilemektedir. Genellikle kötü hijyen koşullarının bir sonucu olarak değerlendirilme-sine rağmen, her sosyal tabakada problem olabilmektedir. Dahası hesaplanmış total ma-liyeti Amerika Birleşik Devletleri gibi gelişmiş bazı ülkelerde milyar dolarları bula-bilmektedir. Sonuç olarak, tedavi stratejilerine ilaçların etkililiği, rahat kullanımı, gü-venliği ve aynı zamanda çevre güvenliğine göre karar verilmelidir.
