General Rules on Formatting and Writing
The general rules to be followed in articles are as follows:
Title of the Turkish Article
Font Size: 14 pt
Style: Bold, Centered
Capitalization: Only the First Letters of Words Should Be Capitalized
Author Name and Surname
Font Size: 14 pt
Style: Italic, Centered
Capitalization: Only the First Letters of Words Should Be Capitalized
Abstract
All articles submitted to the journal must include a Turkish “Özet” (Abstract) consisting of 300 to 500 words.

Paragraph Spacing: Before 6 pt, After 0 pt
Line Spacing: Single
The abstract should be written as a single paragraph.
If the study contains data requiring ethics committee approval (such as surveys, interviews, etc.) and the data were collected in 2020, ethics committee approval is mandatory. If the data were obtained in 2019 or earlier, the date must be specified in the abstract. If ethics committee approval was obtained for data collected in 2020, a statement like “… according to the ethics committee decision dated … and numbered …” should be included in the abstract.
Keywords: word 1, word 2, word 3. (3 to 5 words)
Abstract (in English)
Title of the English Article

Style: Bold, Justified
Capitalization: Only the First Letters of Words Should Be Capitalized
All articles must be prepared according to this template. Articles that do not comply with the specified rules or are submitted without using this template will be rejected. A 300 to 500-word English translation of the Turkish abstract must be included.
Both the Turkish Özet and the English Abstract must be included, along with Keywords (3 to 5 words). The formatting rules for the abstract are the same as for the Turkish one:

Introduction
(Headings should be in 12 pt, Bold, Left-Aligned, and Only the First Letters of Words Should Be Capitalized. Headings should not be numbered.)
The article must be written in Microsoft Word format and must be less than 8 MB in size.
The text must be formatted using Palatino Linotype, 11 pt, single line spacing, 1.25 cm paragraph indentation, and paragraph spacing of 6 pt before and 0 pt after.
No extra spacing should be left between paragraphs.
The document must have 2.5 cm margins on all sides, and the text must be left-aligned (except for the main title, which is centered).
The body text should not exceed 8,000 words, including footnotes but excluding references, abstracts, and keywords.
Subheadings
Capitalization: Only the first letters of words should be capitalized.
Font Size: 12 pt
Style: Bold, Left-Aligned
Special emphasis should only be indicated using double quotation marks.
Avoid using single quotation marks, bold, all caps, underlined, or italicized text for emphasis.
Foreign words or specific terms may be written in italics, and their Turkish equivalent can be provided in parentheses.
Citations and References
In-text citations should follow the Modern Language Association (MLA) 7th edition style, adapted to Turkish syntax and punctuation.
When citing, include the author’s surname and page number(s): (Burke 3-6; Dewey 21, 97).
If there is no author, cite the title of the work.
If there is no page number, use the abbreviation sy (no page).
If referring to a footnote, indicate it after the page number: (Moran 86.7).
Short quotations (four lines or less) should be enclosed in double quotation marks and integrated into the paragraph.
Longer quotations (more than four lines) should be formatted as a block quote, indented 2.5 cm from the left and 1.25 cm from the right.
Tables and Figures
Font: Palatino Linotype

Line Spacing: Single
Table titles: Bold, 12 pt, Numbered, and Placed Above the Table
Example:

Figures, maps, and tables must be labeled consistently, following the same format as table titles.
References (Kaynakça)
The "References" section should only include sources cited in the text.
Entries should be alphabetized by the authors’ last names.
Each entry’s first line should be aligned to the left, and the subsequent lines should be indented by 1.25 cm (hanging indent).
Turkish translations of terms such as editor, translator, edition number, and season/month names should be used.
If the publication city is not provided, use "Yyy" (yayım yeri yok – no publication place).
If the publisher’s name is missing, use "yy" (yayımcı yok – no publisher).
If the publication year is not specified, use "ty" (tarih yok – no date).
Single-Author or Edited Books
