Manzuriddin Ahmed’in Islamic Political System in the Modern Age: Theory and Practice adlı eseri, tanıtım çalışmamızın temel odağındadır. Ahmed, “Introduction, Key Political Concepts in the Qur’an, The Ummah: The Idea of a Universal Community, The Shariʿah: The Cosmic Law of Islam, The Khilafah: Islamic Theory of Government, Shura’, Ijtihad and Ijmaʿ in the Early Islamic State, The Political System Under the Pious Ca-liphs, Basis of Political Obligation in Islam, Integration of the Muslim World: Proplems and Prospects” temel başlıklarıyla erken dönem ve modern dönem siyasal mekanizmayı İslâmi perspektiften ele almıştır. Siyasi bağlamı haiz terminolojiyi süreç analizine tabi tutan yazar, Kur’ân dönemi öncesi, Kur’ân dönemi, Kur’ân dönemi sonrası, diğer dil ve kültürler arası bağlantıları siyasal, sosyal ve ahlaki düzlemde sorgulamıştır.

Abstract

The work of Manzooriddin Ahmad named Islamic Political System in the Modern Age: Theory and Practice is the main focus of our promotional work. With the main titles of “Introduction, Key Political Concepts in the Qur’an, The Ummah: The Idea of a Universal Community, The Shariʿah: The Cosmic Law of Islam, The Khilafah: Islamic Theory of Government, Shura’, Ijtihad and Ijmaʿ in the Early Islamic State, The Political System Under the Pious Caliphs, Basis of Political Obligation in Islam, Integration of the Muslim World: Proplems and Prospects”, Ahmed had discussed the early and the modern political mechanism from an Islāmic perspective. The author, who had subjected the terminology with political context to process analysis, had questioned the pre-Qur’ānic period, the Qur’ānic period, the post-Qur’ānic period, connec-tions between other languages and cultures on a political, social and moral level.
